Their peculiar traditional-contemporary fusion has positioned them in people’s preference relatively quickly.
After the success of “Tennessee whiskey” and “Mi historia entre tus dedos”, Mariachi Quinto sol releases its third single “Tuyo”, an original theme from the Narcos series reinterpreted with their unique style that fuses the sounds of mariachi and contemporary music.
Mariachi Quinto Sol is a six-member band with great performance experience that has kept the mariachi tradition alive in the Los Ángeles music scene since 2014.
The founder and vocalist Roberto Díaz leads the group accompanied by two violins Krystal Sanchez and Nicole Lillingston , Omar Diaz on guitar Elias Rodriguez- Quiroz is their trumpet player and Jessica Ulloa on guitarron , who are in sync to show their passion for music while imprinting their particular stamp on each piece.
In addition to sharing their love for this Mexican genre, declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Mariachi Quinto Sol incorporates contemporary sounds without losing the main essence of mariachi songs.
The great talent and musical career of its members allow them to offer the audience an intense but traditional musical experience, which has positioned them as a well-recognized band and has taken them to important local stages as well as various festivals and invitations to collaborate with artists such as Melody Thornton, a former member of The Pussycat Dolls.
This third single will be all “Tuyo” from June 17 on all digital audio platforms, as well as on YouTube and its official site mquintosol.com where the video clip will also be available.
